Coconut Milk Rice

Method
  1. Chop onions and make ginger-garlic paste.
  2. Grind coconut and extract milk from it.
  3. Grind green chillies, cumin seeds and cashew nuts and make a paste.
  4. Heat ghee and oil in a pan/kadai, add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, onions, garam masala powder, little salt, and then the coconut paste.
  5. Now add rice to it mix well.
  6. Add 2 cups of water. Boil it for some 20 minutes.
  7. Hot, tasty coconut milk rice is ready.

1 cup - coconut milk
1 cup - raw rice/basmati rice
1 - white onion
ginger, small quantity
3 flakes - garlic
5 - cashew nuts
1 tsp - garam masala powder
3 - green chillies
1 tbsp - cumin seeds
1 tbsp - ghee
salt to taste
oil for frying
