Method
  1. Grind all the ingredients from tamarind to green chilies to a smooth paste.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai.
  3. Add garlic and fry till brown.
  4. Add ground paste and fry well till fragrant.
  5. Add mushrooms, salt and � cup of water.
  6. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Add coconut milk.
  8. Bring to a boil and remove from fire.
  9. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Ingredients:
button mushrooms - 500 gm, sliced
coconut milk - 1 packet (200 ml)
tamarind - 2 cm ball
chili powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - � tsp
cumin seeds - 1 tsp
mustard - 1 tsp
roasted peanuts - 3 tbsp
green chilies - 3 to 4, chopped
oil - 2 tbsp
garlic - 8 flakes, crushed
salt to taste
