Method- Cut the sponge cake into thick long square pieces, finger length. Cut 10 such pieces.
- Usually precut bar cakes are available in supermarkets. You may use these too.
- Arrange them on a plate.
- Spread a table spoon on vanilla ice cream on top.
- Add crumbled cookies on top it.
- Top it off with chocolate sauce.
- Apart from cookies, other toppings you can try on the sponge cake and vanilla cream:
- Finely chopped fruits (grapes, kiwi, cherries, and strawberries).
- Finely chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds)
- Chocolate/strawberry sauce without the cookies.
- Serve immediately as this tends to get soggy fast.
- Children love to eat this and it is easy to make for them too.
