Orange Sorbet Ice cream....
Method
- Dissolve sugar and water in a saucepan and cook with fresh orange peel for 5 min on low flame till you get 1/4 cup syrup.
- Remove from heat and cool completely.
- Add fresh orange juice and honey.
- Whisk with an electric beater for 5 min.
- Freeze for an hour then add cream and beat again with an electric beater for 10 minutes.
- Freeze overnight in an air tight plastic container.
- Scoop out and serve with sprigs of mint..
- Use sweet oranges...
Ingredients:
1 cup - fresh orange juice
2 cups - thick double cream
3/4 cup - powdered sugar
1/2 cup - water
1 tbsp - fresh orange peel
2 tbsp - honey
mint sprigs to garnish
