Dal Doodhi ( Bottle Gourd )

Method
  1. Wash the dal and place in the pressure cooker.
  2. Add all the other ingredients and pressure cook for 8 minutes.
  3. Cool the cooker for 10 minutes before opening it.
  4. Add some chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Serve hot with rotis or chapathis.

Ingredients:
2 cups - peeled and chopped doodhi
� cup - chana dal
2 - tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp - corriander powder
1 tsp - chilli powder
1 tsp - sugar
� tsp - turmeric powder
� tsp - cumin powder
� tsp - asafetida
coriander leaves to garnish
salt to taste
