Dry chole

Method
  1. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and urad dal.
  2. When they splutter, add dry red chillies, green chillies and curry leaves; stir for 15 seconds.
  3. Now add turmeric powder and onions and saute till onions are translucent.
  4. Add boiled chole and stir well.
  5. Cook for 3-4 mins on medium flame, stir every 2 mins.
  6. Add salt and mix well and cook for 2 mins more.
  7. Remove and garnish with coriander leaves and serve with puris or rotis.
Ingredients:
2 cups white chick peas (chole), boiled and drained
1 onion, medium size, chopped
3-4 green chillies, chopped
2 stalks - curry leaves
1 tsp - mustard seeds
1 tsp - cumin seeds
2 tsp - urad dal
2 - dry red chillies (optional)
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves, chopped
2 tbsp - oil
