Spicy Mixed Vegetable Curry

Method
  1. Grind all the ingredients from chili powder to turmeric powder together to a smooth paste.
  2. Heat the oil in a pressure pan.
  3. Add onion and fry till golden brown.
  4. Add the ground masala and fry well.
  5. Add tomatoes, fry till oil separates at the sides.
  6. Add the vegetables and salt. Add 1 � cup of water.
  7. Cover the cooker and pressure cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves, with rice or roti.

Serves: 4 to 6

Ingredients:
1 � cup - onion, sliced
1 cup - tomato, chopped
1 cup - carrot, cubed
1 cup - green peas
� cup - beans, cut into 2 cm length
4 cm - ginger
3 - cloves
2 pieces - cinnamon
2 - black cardamoms
1 big ( whole) - garlic
2 tsp - kashmiri chilli powder (or to taste)
1 tsp - pepper corns
1 tsp - fennel
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
coriander leaves to garnish
3 tbsp - oil
salt to taste
