Method
- Pressure cook one cup dhal.
- Cut cucumber into small lenghty pieces and boil for a while.
- In a pan add oil, season with jeera, mustard, green chillies and when it spultters.
- Add sliced onion and later the tomato and fry well.
- Add to dhal, sprinkle turmeric powder, salt to taste.
- Add lime juice and then, at last add a pinch of sugar and mix well.
- This curry goes well with poori, roti, chapati and with hot rice.
- A delicious curry named as thove, familiar in Bangalore.
