Method
  1. Pressure cook one cup dhal.
  2. Cut cucumber into small lenghty pieces and boil for a while.
  3. In a pan add oil, season with jeera, mustard, green chillies and when it spultters.
  4. Add sliced onion and later the tomato and fry well.
  5. Add to dhal, sprinkle turmeric powder, salt to taste.
  6. Add lime juice and then, at last add a pinch of sugar and mix well.
  7. This curry goes well with poori, roti, chapati and with hot rice.
  8. A delicious curry named as thove, familiar in Bangalore.
