Tofu with Fenugreek Leaves

Method
  1. Heat oil in a kadai, add cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
  2. After 1 minute, add onion, ginger and green chilies and fry trill onions are brown.
  3. Add all the powders and fenugreek leaves.
  4. Fry very well, adding a tbsp of curds in between.
  5. Add coconut paste and fry for a few minutes.
  6. Add Tofu and salt. Keep covered on a low flame for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with rotis or chapathis.

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:
tofu - 200 gm, cut into very small cubes (1/4 cm)
grated coconut - 4 tbsp, ground to smooth paste
fenugreek leaves (methi bhaji) - 3 cup, chopped
oil - 4 tbsp
cloves, cardamom - 2 each
cinnamon - 2 cm piece
onion - 1 cup, minced
ginger - 2 tsp, minced
green chilies - 1 tsp, minced
chili powder - 1 tsp
coriander powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1\2 tsp
curds - 1\4 cup
lime juice
salt to taste
