Plum Preserve

Method
  1. Wash and wipe the plums, keep them in a thick pan along with sugar.
  2. Bring to boil, then reduce heat.
  3. The skins can be taken out now.
  4. Cook on a slow fire till the plums are soft.
  5. Keep stirring so that the contents do not stick to the bottom of the pan.
  6. Remove the seeds and add the lemon juice.
  7. Mix and cook for 1 more minute.
  8. Store in sterilized bottles.
Ingredients:
500 gms ripe healthy plum
500 gms sugar
Juice of 3 lemons
