Method
- Wash and wipe the plums, keep them in a thick pan along with sugar.
- Bring to boil, then reduce heat.
- The skins can be taken out now.
- Cook on a slow fire till the plums are soft.
- Keep stirring so that the contents do not stick to the bottom of the pan.
- Remove the seeds and add the lemon juice.
- Mix and cook for 1 more minute.
- Store in sterilized bottles.
Ingredients:
500 gms ripe healthy plum
500 gms sugar
Juice of 3 lemons
