Method
- Blanch almonds in hot water for an hour.
- Remove skin and make a paste using milk .
- Mix some water to sugar and heat till it dissolves.
- Add badam paste and cook till it becomes thick.
- Add kesar and saffron, stir till it dissolves.
- When the halwa sticks to the pan, add gee and cook till halwa consistency is reached.
Ingredients:
1 cup - almonds (heaped)
1 1/4 cup - sugar
kesar yellow colour, a little
3/4 cup - ghee
saffron, a few strands
1 1/2 cup - milk
