Hare narangi kabab

  1. Grind half the dal coarsely. The other half finely.
  2. Add a pinch of soda bi carb to each portion.
  3. To the coarse paste, add half of chillies, turmeric, half of coriander leaves, coconut, salt and pepper.
  4. Make flat balls and deep fry in hot oil.
  5. In the fine paste, add garam masala, remaining chillies, coriander laves, spinach, salt and pepper.
  6. Make flat balls and deep fry in hot oil.
  7. Arrange in alternate layers while serving.
1&1/2 cups chana dal, soaked in water, drained
3 green chillies, minced
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
1 cup coriander leaves, minced
1/2 cup coconut, ground
1/2 cup spinach, cooked, ground
1/4 tsp. soda bi carb
Salt and pepper to taste
