Jonna Mudda/Sorghum Ball

Method
  1. Wash and pressure cook the rice in 2 cups of water till 3 or 4 whistles.
  2. Switch off the flame and wait until the pressure go off.
  3. Bring two cups of water to boil.
  4. Add the cooked rice, salt, sorghum flour to it and mix well.
  5. Cover with a lid and cook on a low flame for 5 minutes.
  6. Wet your hands, take a portion of sorghum mixture and shape them into a small round ball.
  7. Serve with vegetable stew and chopped onions.

1/2 cup - rice
4 cups - water
Salt to taste
