Ingredients: 3 cups moong dal
3 green chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp soda bicarb
1 tsp cumin seeds
A pinch of asafoetida
Oil as needed
For the garlic chutney, grind to a fine paste:
15 cloves of garlic
4 green chillies
2 red chillies
1 tsp salt
A small ball of tamarind
