Method
- Beat the eggs, sugar and butter together in a mixer/blender.
- Pour this mix into a bowl large enough for making the cake batter.
- Add cake flour/ all purpose flour to this batter and mix well to avoid any lumps.
- Add vanilla essence and baking powder to this batter
- Add chopped walnuts and mix lightly.
- Pour this batter into a well-greased pan and level the batter evenly.
- Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 30 mins (check the top of the cake at regular intervals for browning on top depending on the temperature of your oven)
- Turn the oven off after 30 mins and let the cake remain in the oven.
- Take the cake out after 10-15 mins and let it cool for 45 mins.
- Cut the cake and serve warm.
