Method
  1. Clean, peel and grate the raw mangoes.
  2. Mix the pulp with the sugar (the ratio is 1 cup of mango to 1 cup of sugar).
  3. Once mixed put it in a broad vessel, cover with a muslin cloth & leave in the sun to dry till the sugar has melted.
  4. Add red chilly powder to taste and stir in the cummin seeds.
  5. Fill in a pickle jar and store.
