Method
  1. Heat the mango juice, sugar and milk in a large pan.
  2. Simmer until it reaches a paste-like consistency.
  3. Gradually add the ghee, stirring well to prevent the mixture sticking to the pan.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking tray.
  5. Flatten out evenly then sprinkle with the nuts and raisins.
  6. Leave to cool then cut into diamond-shaped pieces.
Ingredients:
1.75 lit / 3 pts - mango juice
900 g / 2 lb - sugar
2.25 l/4 pts - milk
450 g / 1 lb - ghee
100 g / 4 oz - flaked almonds
50 g / 2 oz - pistachios, chopped
50 g / 2 oz - raisins
