Method
- Take a fresh raw mango which is very hard(it should not be soft other wise it will be sweet).
- Wash and dry the mango.
- Cut it into small peices till only the hard part is left.
- Put the pieces in a bowl and add salt, red chilli powder and rye seed powder. All the three ingredients (salt. chilli powder an drye powder should be one small cup)
- Mix them well by adding oil little by little. Just put 5 to 6 tbsps.
- Cover the bowl and leave the mixture overnight.
- Serve it with hot rice, dal and ghee. It will be super.
Tip: Shelf life of the pickle is one week but I can guarantee it will be done in less than 2 days.
