Raw Mango Dal

Method
  1. Peel the skin of raw mango and slice it with the slicer.
  2. Now in a bowl, cook the sliced raw mango, chopped green chillies, turmeric powder, salt along with a little water.
  3. Now cook the tur dal separately and add it to the mango mixture.
  4. Season it with mustard, cumin, red chillies and chopped garlic.
  5. Finally boil it for 5 min.
  6. This goes great with hot steamed rice and rotis. Happy eating :)

1 - raw mango
4 tbsp - tur dal
2 - green chillies
2 - red chillies
6 pods - garlic
Turmeric powder, a pinch
1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
1/2 tsp - mustard
Salt to taste
