Method
- Soak pista and almond in hot water for 5 mins.
- Drain, peel and cut pista into thin strips.
- Cruch almond into small pieces.
- Soak rice for half an hour.
- Drain and grind to a smooth paste.
- Dilute in 1/2 cup water.
- Boil milk, lower heat, add rice paste and cook for 8 mins till it is thick.
- Add jaggery, cashew and cardamom powder. Lower heat and cook till jaggery is dissolved.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve garnished with pista and chilled.
