Dry Fruit Palkova

Method
  1. Dry roast almonds, walnuts and pista separately
  2. Finely chop all the nuts, dates and figs
  3. Take the khova in a big heavy bowl
  4. Add in the chopped dry fruit and nuts a little at a time and mix with a strong long spatula. This is tough task, with the khova (esp. homemade variety) being a sticky, tough mass.
  5. Do not use any plastic spoon however strong as it may break.

Ingredients:
1.5 cups - palkova/Khova
200g - dried figs (around 30)
1 cup - dried dates
1/2 cup - almonds
100g - walnuts (around 15 half kernels)
1/4 cup - pistachio
1/2 tsp - ghee/butter (to grease)
