Method-
Boil milk on medium flame, add makhana, sugar, safforn and cardamom
powder, and cook till it begins to boil, minimize the flame, and cook about
20 minutes.

100 gm puffed lotus seeds (finely chopped)
500 litre milk
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
10 strands of saffron
