Method
- In a large pan, add cloves, cinnamon, pepper, sugar and orange zest to milk.
- Simmer for a while, stirring constantly.
- Do not allow the mixture to boil.
- Keep over low heat for 15 mins till you get a nice aroma.
- Chop chocolate and place in a heat-proof bowl.
- Strain hot spicy milk into the bowl and stir well to melt chocolate.
- Pour into tall mugs and serve hot.
Ingredients:
8 cups milk/soy milk
6 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks, broken into small pieces
A pinch pepper
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp orange zest, grated
500g dark chocolate
