Vegetable Soup

Method
  1. Cook the vegetables, onion, ginger, garlic and dal in a pressure cooker
  2. with 3 cups of water, for 10 minutes on low flame.
  3. Drain well by taking out the entire juice out of the vegetables, into a pan.
  4. Add milk and one cup of water.
  5. Bring to boil again for 5 minutes.
  6. Add salt, pepper powder and ghee to taste.

Serves: 3
Note:
This soup is good for children especially when they have cold.
You can add any nutritional vegetables of your choice.

1 cup - vegetables cut into pieces(carrot, beans , cabbage , any leafy vegetable)
� cup - moong dal or green gram dal (cheru payar)
� cup - milk
� piece - onion
� piece - ginger, crushed
1 pods - garlic, crushed
� tsp - pepper powder
2 tsp - ghee or butter
