Method
  1. Set the pasta to boil in a crock with plenty of water. Add a few drops of olive oil to the boiling pasta. When done, drain and set aside after sprinkling a few drops olive oil.

  2. In an open saucepan, heat the olive oil slightly and add chopped onion. Fry till pinkish, add spinach and fry till lightly cooked. Mix in ginger garlic paste and chopped garlic and cook nicely. Add nutri nuggets and cook a minute. Add Ragu sauce.

  3. Blend in a slice or two of any cheese and stir till cheese has melted and sauce has a red-streaked-with-yellow hue and emerges orange. Add salt as per taste.

  4. Serve hot heaped on pasta.

    Note:Serves about 5-6 people with hearty appetites. Goes will with garlic bread and any sweet red wine!

Ingredients:


1 pack Spaghetti (Barilla)
Half a Red Onion chopped bite size
1 bottle Ragu Chunky Mushroom Pasta Sauce
Half a pack Birdseye Frozen Chopped Spinach (thaw under running hot tap)
2 teaspoons Ginger-Garlic paste
1 teaspoon chopped Garlic
1 table spoon Olive Oil
1 cup soaked Nutri Nuggets (45 minutes is usually enough but wash and wring dry)
1 or 2 slices singles Cheese (any, I prefer American, Kraft)
Optional: garlic powder (sprinkle as garnish)
Salt to taste
