Badam Ka Halwa

Method
  1. Lightly heat ghee in non-stick vessel.
  2. Saute the ground almonds, wheat flour and cardamoms on a low flame till golden brown.
  3. Stir continuously, so that the almond mixture does not stick to the bottom of the vessel.
  4. Gradually add milk and saffron.
  5. Continue cooking and when the mixture is fairly dry, add sugar and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes on low flame.
  6. Keep the vessel on a pre-heated tawa on low flame for few minutes.
  7. Garnish with dry fruits and serve hot.
Ingredients:
150 gms - almonds (coarsely ground)
� litre - milk (full cream preferably)
2 tbsp - wheat flour
7 tbsp - ghee
1 cup - sugar
8 to 10 - green cardamoms (peeled and powdered)
15 strands - saffron (soaked in 2 tbsp milk)
� cup - finely sliced dry fruits (almonds, pistachios, cashew nuts)
