Walnut Balls in Milk Sauce

Method
  1. Add 50 gms of the sugar to the paneer and mash it with a hand blender.
  2. Make thin batter with 4tbsp cornflour with enough water.
  3. Grate or crush the walnuts into small pieces with a blender.
  4. Mix it with paneer and mix well.
  5. Add few drops vanilla essence and the raisins to the paneer mixture and mix well.
  6. Divide into 15 - 20 balls.
  7. Dip in corn flour batter and deep fry till light golden brown.
  8. Mix 1 tbsp cornflour with 4 tbsp milk to a paste.
  9. Bring the remaining milk to a boil, and keep stirring till reduced to half.
  10. Add vanilla essence, stir well.
  11. Gradually add the corn flour paste and keep stirring continuously till the mixture is smooth.
  12. Remove from fire, cool it lightly.
  13. Transfer it to the serving bowl and add the walnut balls.
  14. Sprinkle almond flakes and drizzle some melted chocolate.
  15. Serve warm.
Ingredients:
100 gms - walnuts
200 gms - sugar or substitute
250 gms - low fat paneer
50 gms - raisins, soaked in water
5 tbsp - corn flour
1 ltr - skimmed milk
1 small bar - plain milk chocolate, melted
oil for deep frying
few drops vanilla essence
almond flakes
