Peas Potato Curry

Method
  1. Cut potatoes into cubes and half boil in 1 cup of water and with little turmeric save cooked potatoes water.
  2. Cut onions, tomotoes, red chillies and finely cut ginger.
  3. In a pan heat 3 tsp oil, add mustard red chillies curry leaves and finely cut ginger fry till ginger turns golden brown.
  4. Add onions, fry till golden brown.
  5. Now add half cooked potatos and fry for few seconds.
  6. Add choped tomotoes and fry for few seconds.
  7. Now add coriander powder, chilli powder fry for few seconds.
  8. Now add potatoes water, salt and peas and boil till done.
  9. This can be served along with dosa, cahappathi, idly or plain rice.
Ingredients:
potatoes - 2 meduim size
frozen peas - 1/2 cup
red dry chillies - 2 deseeded
mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
coriander powder - 2 tsp
chilli powder - 1 tsp
ginger finely chopped - 1/2 tsp
onion - 1 meduim size
tomoto - 2 medium size
oil - 3 tsp
curry leaves - a few
salt to tast
