Vegetable Upma

Method
  1. Chop chillies and onions and keep aside.
  2. Chop all the other vegetables in small pieces (approx 0.5 cm sq)
  3. Heat oil in pan; put urad dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves.
  4. Saute till urad dal is little brown; then put onions and other vegetables; add salt.
  5. Cover and allow to fry till they are little soft on reduced flame.
  6. Sprinkle the rawa on the vegetables slowly and mix well.
  7. Sprinke some water if necessary so that the rawa is properly coated on the vegetables.
  8. See that the rawa does not form clods.
  9. Cover the pan and allow to cook for about 5 minutes.
  10. Vegetable Upma is ready to serve.

250g - wheat rawa (preferably roasted)
100ml - vegetable oil
20g - urad dal
5g - mustard seeds
Salt to taste
20 - curry leaves
2 - onions
5 - green chillies
50g - carrots
1 cup - cauliflower florets
100g - green peas
50g - French beans
