Ananas Pulao

Method
  1. Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in the pan and add jeera to it.
  3. When jeera starts to splutter then add peas and ananas (pine apple) to it.
  4. Cook it for 1/2 a minute.
  5. Add rice and remaining ingredients to it.
  6. Cook it while moving it twice or thrice inbetween till the rice are cooked (preferably cover with a lid and cook on low flame).
  7. Serve it hot.
Ingredients:
1 cup - basmati rice
1 cup - ananas (chopped) or tinned ananas pieces
1/2 cup - peas
7 to 8 - cashew nuts
7 to 8 - black pepper (seeds)
1 or 2 - cloves
1 tablespoon - jeera (cumin seeds)
1/2 teaspoon - cardamom powder
1/2 teaspoon - red chilly powder
2 tablespoon - cooking oil
a pinch - cinnamon powder
salt to taste
