Method

  1. Soak the rice & dal and make a thick paste like vada batter, along with salt.

  2. Take a teaspoon of the batter & deep fry them in medium flame until golden brown, take out the vada & squeeze excess oil.

  3. Allow milk to simmer until reduced to =, then add cardamom & sugar in it.

  4. Add the vadas in the milk and allow them to cool, so that they'll soak properly.

Raw Rice - 4 cup
Urad dal - 3 cup
Milk - 1 lit
Sugar - according to your taste
Oil for deep fry (with 100 gms ghee-optional)
Cardamom a pinch
Salt
