Pal Payasam ( Pressure Cooked Kheer )
Method
- Put all the ingredients together in a big pressure cooker.
- Bring to full pressure, then reduce heat and cook for 20 mins.
- Remove cooker from heat and allow it to cool naturally.
- Place cooker on medium heat and cook until a creamy consistency is obtained, stirring constantly.
- Place the payasam (kheer) in serving dish. Serve hot or cold.

sugar - 2 cups
milk - 8 cups
saffron - a little
