Ribbon Murukku

Method
  1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Mix some water. Add 1 tbsp at a time.
  3. The consistency should be such that, it is not too hard nor too soft.
  4. It should be like as shown below
  5. Take a Ribbon Murukku maker and keep ready.
  6. Spoon the prepared dough into the maker and press it over some oil heated in a pan for deep fry.
  7. Let it fry for a minute and then slowly turn it the other side.
  8. Remove it with a slotted spoon once its browned on both the sides.

1 1/3 cup - besan flour ( chickpea flour)
1/2 cup - rice flour
1 tbsp - dalda ( vegetable shortening)
1 tsp - chilli powder
1/2 tsp - sesame seeds
salt to taste
