Rawa Banana Halva

Method
  1. Roast cashew nuts in 2 Tbsp of ghee and reserve.
  2. Roast rawa with 2 Tbsp of ghee till light brown.
  3. Add sugar, milk, water and remaining ghee.
  4. Add banana pieces. Add color if using.
  5. Cook stirring till the mixture forms a thick lump.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with reserved cashew nuts and banana slices.
  7. Serve warm or cold.

rawa (semolina) - 1 cup
finely chopped bananas - 2 cups
milk - 2 cups
ghee, melted - ¾ cup
cashew nuts - 2 tbsp
sugar - 1 ½ cup
water - ½ cup
yellow food color - a little, optional
banana slices to garnish
