Pumpkin Halwa

  1. Grate the pumpkin finely and boil it.
  2. When tender, pour it in a kadai and add some food colour to it.
  3. Add sugar and keep stirring.
  4. When it starts to leave the sides, add the ghee and stir.
  5. The mixture will start to thicken.
  6. Put off the flame and cool.
  7. Garnish with fried cashews.
2 cups - white pumpkin, grated
3 cups - sugar
2 tbsp - ghee
Food colour, a pinch
