Method
- Fry cashewnuts and raisins in a little ghee and keep it aside. In same pan fry vermicelli and put aside.
- Fry green gram dal in a little ghee, add sufficient water, cook and keep aside.
- Boil 4 cups of water, add semiya amd cook.
- Add sugar, cooked green gram dal, remaining ghee and cook for 5 min on medium heat.
- Remove from stove and add fried cashews, raisins and crushed cardamom.
- Serve warm.
Ingredients:
2 cups vermicelli
1 cup green gram dal
3 cups sugar (reduce if you like it to be less sweet)
1/2 cup ghee
4 cardamom
Few cashews and raisins
