Paneer Parcels

Method
  1. Cut paneer into 6 rectangle pieces.
  2. Slit each piece horizontally keeping the two parts attached at one side.
  3. Grind all the ingredients from peanuts to mango powder together to a stiff coarse paste.
  4. Divide the paste into 6 portions and stuff it between the two layers of each paneer pieces.
  5. Wrap each piece in a turmeric leaf and tie with a thread to make a neat parcel.
  6. Deep fry the parcels in hot oil for about 2 minutes.
  7. Drain and serve with chutney.

Makes: 6 parcels

Note:
Open the parcels and eat the paneer, discarding the leaves.

Ingredients:
paneer - 200 gm
roasted peanuts - 4 tbsp
chili powder - 1/2 tsp
coriander powder - 1 tsp
pepper - 1/2 tsp
ginger - 1 tsp, chopped
dry mango powder (aamchoor) - 1 tsp
turmeric leaves - 6
salt to taste
