Aloo Channa Chaat

Method
  1. Soak channa overnight for at least 6-8 hours.
  2. Pressure cook channa until soft, drain water and keep aside.
  3. Pressure cook potatoes for 3-4 whistles until soft.
  4. Peel the skin and mash it roughly, keep aside.
  5. Now in a bowl add channa and boiled potatoes, combine it with chaat masala powder, lemon juice, chilli powder, salt, green chutney, dates chutney and mix well.
  6. Finally add onions and garnish with coriander leaves and sev on top.
  7. This is a healthy alternative to other chaats as it is oil free.

Note: You can also add raw chopped tomatoes.

Ingredients:
1 cup - channa
1/4 cup - potatoes
1/4 tsp - chaat masala/garam masala powder
Chilli powder, a pinch
1 tbsp - green chutney
1 tbsp - dates chutney
1 small - onion, chopped fine
1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped fine
2 tbsp - sev (optional)
Salt as required
1 tsp - lemon juice
