1 cup - toovar (red gram ) dal
250 g - brinjal, quartered
1 cup - green mango, chopped
½ cup - onion, finely chopped
¼ cup - onion, sliced
10 to 12 - green chillies, sliced
2 tsp - coriander powder
3 tbsp - oil (preferably ground nut)
1 tsp - mustard
1 tsp - cumin
2 - red chilli, broken into pieces
1 tbsp - garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp - ghee, optional
few - curry leaves
salt to taste
