Method

  1. Grind dry coconut, green chillies, ginger, poppy seeds.

  2. Scrape and cut carrots into small pieces and cook them.

  3. Heat oil in a shallow pan and add the spices, onions and fry. When it is done add cut tomatoes and fry for few minutes.

  4. Add carrot and ground masala and enough water. Boil till gravy thickens.

  5. Decorate with coriander leaves and ring onions.

Ingredients:
Carrot - 1/2 kg
Tomatoes - 3
Dry coconut - 1/2 cup
Green Chillies -6
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Poppy seeds - 1 tbsp
Big Onions - 3
Cardamoms - 2
Cloves - 2
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Turmeric Powder little
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp.
