  1. Mix wheat flour with salt, 1 table spoon of oil and water.
  2. Usually water required is 45 % of flour quantity.
  3. Wash methi leaves and chop.
  4. Mix immediately with the dough.
  5. Roll out into chapathis.
  6. Place tava on stove, when it is hot, place the chapathi, add some oil, heat on both sides.
  7. Hot methi roti is ready to be served with curd and pickle.


2 cups - wheat flour
1 bunch - methi leaves
Salt, a pinch
Oil, a small quantity
