Method
  1. Wash, peel and cut the peaches into cubes.
  2. Pour oil in a pan. Heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  3. After mustard seeds start to splutter, add peach pieces.
  4. After 2 minutes, add 1 cup of water.
  5. After boiling for 5 minutes, add salt, rasam powder, and brown sugar.
  6. Let boil for another 10 minutes.

Note:

  • This recipe could be used as a nice side dish, complimenting chappati, poori, or any kind of roti.
  • It could also be mixed in with rice.
  • Can do this with raw mangoes.

4 to 5 - medium sized peaches
1/2 tsp - rasam powder
1/2 tsp - brown sugar
1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
1 tbsp - oil
1 cup - water
1 1/2 tsp - salt
