Method
- Boil, peel and cut potatoes into 4 cm cubes.
- Roast chillies, coriander and Bengal gram dal in 1 tsp oil. Cool and powder coarsely.
- Heat remaining oil in a kadai and season with mustard and black gram dal. Add potatoes and salt. Stir fry for a minute or two. Sprinkle the masala powder, mix well and remove from fire.

Red chillies - 4-5
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
Bengal gram (chana) dal - 2 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Black gram (urad) dal - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
