Tomato and Mint Shorba
Method
  1. Boil all the ingredients on low heat for approximately 30 mins.
  2. Mash with a ladle and strain.
  3. Boil once again till you get the desired consistency.
  4. Correct seasoning and garnish with a few mint leaves.
Ingredients:
Tomato, quartered - 1 kg
Mint, chopped - 1 cup
Carrot, peeled and coarsely chopped - 1
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Peppercorns - 6
Green chillies - 3
Bay leaves - 3
Cloves garlic, bruised - 2
Water (approx.) - 1 lt
Salt to taste
Mint leaves to garnish
