Method
  1. Wash and wipe ladys finger dry.
  2. Chop off the ends and keep aside.
  3. Grind pepper and ginger to a fine paste.
  4. In a pan, cilli, cumin, slit green chillies, coriander powder, turmeric powder, besan and salt.
  5. Add the ladysfinger and cook for five minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Now add ginger-pepper paste and mix well.
  7. Lower heat, add yoghurt, and cook covered for 5 mins, stirring now and then till ladysfinger is cooked.
  8. Serve hot with rotis or phulka.
Ingredients:
250 g - small ladysfinger
2 - green chilli
1/2 inch - ginger
3/4 cup - yoghurt
1 tsp - bengal gram flour
1/4 tsp - pepper
1 tbsp - oil
1 - red chilli
1/2 tsp - cumin
1 tsp - corinader powder
a pinch of turmeric powder
salt to taste
