Bitter Gourd Curry (Kakarakayya Curry)

Method
  1. Take the Bitter guard which is cut and wash with the salt. Keep it a side.
  2. Put the pan ,after the pan gets heated .
  3. Add oil to fry the Bittergaurd.Deep fry till the color changes to light green.
  4. Place them a side. Now heat the oil in the pan after oil gets heated adds cumin seeds and jeera.
  5. After they splutter add green chillies.
  6. After few minutes add onion, stay till onion turn to golden brown.
  7. Now add turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste to it.
  8. Now add tomatoes, after tomatoes boil to little extent add fried bitter guard to that.
  9. Wait for a while and then add red chilli powder and salt.
  10. After it gets completed cooked add coriander powder to it.
  11. At last garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves.
Ingredients:
2 - bitter guard, cut in long size
1 – tomato, cut in small pieces
1 - onion
2 - green chillies, cut into long length
1 tbsp - redchilli powder
1 tbsp - ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp - coriander powder
1/2 tbsp - cumin seeds
1/2 tbsp - jeera
1 tbsp - turmeric powder
salt to taste
oil to cook and fry
curry leaves and coriander leaves to garnish
