Method
- Peel and dice bottlegourd.
- Sprinkle some salt, keep aside for a minute.
- Meanwhile slice ends of cucumber, rub and discard.
- Wash cucumber well, esp. froth at ends.
- Chop roughly, put in an electric blender.
- Wash salted gourd, drain, add to blender.
- Add all other ingredients, except pepper.
- Run mixie till mixture is smooth and frothy.
- Pass through a non-metallic strainer.
- Serve fresh.
