Pour the oil and when it is heated, put the mustard seeds and when it splutter, saute the chopped onions and green chilly till it's transparent.
Add 4, 5, 6, and 7 fry it for few minutes.
Add chole now and mix with the masala well. Add enough salt, water and coconut milk and bring to a boil.
Season it with curry leaves.
This goes well with Idly, Dosa etc.
1. Cooked Chole 2 cups
2. Chopped Onion 1 cup
3. Green Chilly 4 or 5 (split)
4. Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
5. Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
6. Red Chilly Powder 2 table spoons (add more if you want)
7. Turmeric Powder 1 pinch
8. Salt to taste
9. Thick Coconut Milk - 1 cup
10. Sufficient Water (if you have water in the cooked chole, that will do)
11. Mustard seeds, curryleaves., oil for seasoning.
