Brinjal Curry (Andhra Style)

Method
  1. In a kadai head oil, fry all the seeds
  2. Once done, add the brinjal pieces and turmeric.
  3. Mix well and cover with a lid.
  4. Cook till brinjal becomes tender.
  5. Make a paste of coconut, green chillies and ginger.
  6. Add this paste to the brinjal pieces
  7. Add salt and mix well
  8. Brinjal curry is ready.
  9. This tastes best with hot rice.
Ingredients:
1/4 kg - brinjal
5 to 6 - green chillies
1 tsp - chana dal
1 tsp - urad dal
1/4 tsp - jeera
1 tsp - mustard seeds
pinch - hing
1/4 tsp - turmaric
3 tbsp - oil
1/2 - fresh coconut
1 tsp - ginger paste
salt as per taste
