Method
- Wash and soak the rice for about 3 to 4 hours.
- Grind it into a coarse batter (like rava), add coconut to this batter.
- You may even grind the coconut with the rice.
- Add salt and the leaves to the batter, mix well.
- Heat a tava, drop a laddleful of the batter and spread it like dosa.
- Drop some oil around the adai.
- When this side is well cooked, turn it over and add little oil.
- When cooked, remove it.
- Serve with chutney, sambar or idli chilli powder.

boiled rice - 2 cups
grated coconut - 1 cup
drumstick leaves - 1 cup
oil for frying
salt to taste
